Your child's emotional development and stability matters to us. We have Registered Play Therapists who are trained to work with your child wherever they are in their development.
Our services for adolescents are tailored to help them articulate what they are experiencing in life. Whether it is anxiety, depression or trauma, we strive to assist our teens in Being Well by providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative & Expressive Arts & Groups that meet quarterly.
Children encounter a myriad of changes and challenges as they transition through elementary age. Whether they are having trouble adjusting to a new normal, are afraid and anxious, need to understand grief on their level or assistance with a behavioral plan, our therapists are caring and warm and will work with your child to develop the necessary skills to flourish.
Please reach us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We assess each situation differently. Depending on the child's situation and severity it can range from once or twice per week to once per month, depending on what is going on with your child.
Yes we do. We will ask for information regarding any legal situation that may be involved in needing information or proof that your child is in treatment. Our intake specialist will be able to answer that more robustly once you schedule your first appointment.
We ask that parents and guardians are close enough for us to speak to, in case of an emergency. At Life Options, we like to speak briefly to the parent/guardian at the beginning of the session and if needed again at the end for a wrap up.
